Mojito is a Cuban drink that will quench your thirst on a hot summer day! It has a slight taste of mint, lime freshness and strawberry flavor! A little away from the classics, enliven this Cuban drink with bright berries and give it a new unique taste! Are you ready?
We will collect the necessary ingredients for our cocktail. We tear the leaves off the mint twigs and knead / tear them with our hands so that they actively give their flavors to the drink, and send them into glasses! It is preferable to use special cocktail glasses with a volume of 350-400 ml!
Cut the lime into thin slices.
Pour 1 tsp of cane sugar into each glass. Knead well with a spoon, you can use a wooden pestle or mortar!
Cut the strawberries into halves or quarters – depending on its size!
Squeeze the juice from each slice of lime into the glasses, and send the slices themselves into the glass – let them fill the cocktail with their flavors!
Then fill the glass with crushed ice (or whatever you like).
To make ice chips without a special device, I send ice cubes into a package and grind them with a rolling pin – this is optional!
Put strawberries on top of the ice and fill the glass to the top with sprite or carbonated table water! Here, too, proceed from your own preferences!
If you add 50 ml of white rum to a glass, you will get an alcoholic mojito! 😉
