Sandwich with Poached Egg Recipe
Many people like poached eggs, but do not want to cook, because they think that it is difficult. I recently learned how to cook it in the microwave, and I will share this recipe with you. I do not pretend to be original, the method is well-known, but for me it was a discovery. Anyone interested, come on in, I’ll tell you.

  1. WE WILL COOK THE POACHED EGG IN THE MICROWAVE AT A POWER OF 700 W We will need everything you see in the photo: a small deep container that can be used in a microwave, half a glass of water, half a teaspoon of salt and an egg.
  2. Carefully, so as not to damage the yolk, break the egg into a separate bowl. I advise you not to skip this step: this way you can, if necessary, remove unwanted inclusions that occur in a raw egg. Pour the water into the container, dissolve the salt and carefully pour the egg there.
  3. We put it in the microwave, set the maximum power (I HAVE 700 watts) and turn it on for two minutes. Check the readiness: the protein should completely curdle. At a different power, there will be a different cooking time. I have a poached egg ready in exactly two minutes. Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the egg and let the water drain. As you can see in the photo, the poached egg turns out to be a neat, beautiful round shape. Note that we did not use vinegar, you do not need to add salt to the egg either.
  4. Serve the finished poached egg on toasted bread. It turned out to be round and neat, but I also cut the edges with a round notch so that the egg would fit nicely on the toast. You don’t have to do that. I like to smear the toast with Dijon mustard, and you can serve it to your taste.
  5. Bon Appetit!
