Summer Soft Drink “Cherry Lemonade” Recipe
Cherry lemonade prepared with your own hands is a wonderful summer soft drink that will please you with a bright taste, color and aroma. In addition to cherries, it includes water (regular or carbonated), freshly squeezed lemon juice and a little sugar for sweetness. If desired, you can also add a sprig of mint, it gives the drink freshness.

  1. To prepare cherry lemonade: you need to cook mint syrup. A sprig of mint is washed under cold running water and torn off its leaves. In a saucepan, pour a glass of water, add sugar and mint leaves (if desired, if you do not like the taste of mint in the finished drink – just cook the sugar syrup). The amount of sugar depends on how sour the berries are, adjust it to your taste.
  2. Bring the syrup to a boil and cook for 1-2 minutes over a low heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow the syrup to cool completely.
  3. While the syrup cools, prepare the cherries. We sort and remove the spoiled berries, wash them and put them in a colander to drain the water.
  4. Remove the seeds from each cherry. Put the peeled cherries in a bowl.
  5. Then chop the cherries with a blender until they are pureed.
  6. In a saucepan with syrup, pour the cherry puree, freshly squeezed lemon juice and add the rest of the cold (boiled) water. Mix and put the pan with cherry lemonade in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, so that it is infused and turns out more saturated.
  7. Then strain the drink through a fine sieve and pour into a jug. Cut the lemon into thin slices and send it to a jug with cherry lemonade. Serve the cherry lemonade chilled, with lemon slices, ice cubes and mint leaves. Store homemade lemonade in the refrigerator.
