I want to share with you a very simple, but nevertheless original and delicious recipe that won the hearts of my family! I saw the idea of such a snack in an advertisement for a grill, I don’t know the exact composition, so I had to improvise. I recommend cooking it!
A simple set of ingredients.
I mixed the barbecue seasoning myself from dried herbs : garlic, tomatoes, Provencal herbs and smoked paprika. You can use your favorite ones, there is plenty of room for imagination.
Barbecue sauce you can also take your favorite, below I will give a link to the sauce that I used.
You will need 16 strips of bacon, cut them in half, put one on top of the other in a cross.
Roll the mozzarella well in the seasoning and wrap it in an envelope, first the lower part, then the upper part.
Fasten with a wooden skewer or toothpick.
Place the envelopes on a special grill board, soaked in water for 5-6 hours in advance. Cook on the grill at a temperature of 200-220 °for 10 minutes.
Remove from the grill and coat with your favorite barbecue sauce.
And put it on the grill for another 5 minutes until caramelized.
Such a snack can be prepared in the oven, replacing the board with a refractory form.
Serve necessarily hot.
Ruddy, slightly crispy with a cheese filling inside, the snack is very tasty!
