  1. All the ingredients: herring, cucumber, egg and olives were passed through a meat grinder and crushed to a paste. Olives can also be used green. I like black ones better. You can also add butter. I didn’t add it because I salted the herring, and it was in oil.
  2. The pate is not a very beautiful color, but I like this taste. For my sons, I did not use olives in the pate, but added 50 g of butter.
  3. Delicious pate with black bread or boiled potatoes.
