Pea porridge with vegetables and dried mushrooms. Fragrant, crumbly, delicious. The dish is being prepared almost without your participation, it is enough to put all the ingredients in a baking dish and put it in the oven.
Soak the peas (finely chopped) and dry mushrooms overnight in boiled water.
Cut the carrots and onions into small cubes and fry the vegetables in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, stirring. (fire is active)
Rinse the soaked peas under running water until the water becomes clear.
Place the peas evenly in a baking dish. The size of my form 26*17*5 cm.
Drain the water from the mushrooms, cut them arbitrarily and evenly distribute them over the peas.
Spread the fried vegetables on top.
Cut the butter into slices and put it on top of the vegetables.
Pour 350 ml of hot (boiling) water into the mold water. Season the porridge with salt and sweet paprika.
Cover the form tightly with foil.
Put the mold in a preheated 200 ° oven and cook the porridge for 30-35 minutes.
After half an hour, remove the baking sheet, carefully (watch out for hot steam!) remove the foil, stir the porridge and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. (for evaporation of excess liquid)
The cooking time depends on the power of your oven and the type of peas from which the porridge is prepared. You may have to keep the porridge in the oven a little longer.
