Pea in the Oven Recipe
Pea porridge with vegetables and dried mushrooms. Fragrant, crumbly, tasty. Preparing a dish almost without your participation, it is enough to put all the ingredients in a baking dish and put it in the oven.
Lunch Second Breakfast
Peas (chopped) and dry mushrooms soak in boiled water overnight.
Carrots and onions cut into small cubes and fry vegetables in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, stirring. (fire active)
Wash the soaked peas under running water until the water becomes clear. Spread the peas evenly in the baking dish. The size of my form 26*17*5 cm.
With mushrooms, drain water, cut into randomly and evenly spread them on the peas.
From top to distribute the roasted vegetables.
Butter cut into plates and put it on top of the vegetables. Pour 350 ml of hot (boiling water) water into the mold. Salt porridge, season with sweet paprika.
The form tightly with foil. Put the form in a preheated 200° oven and cook porridge 30-35 minutes.
After half an hour remove the pan, carefully (look out for hot steam!) remove the foil, stir the porridge and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. (to evaporate excess liquid)
Cooking time depends on the power of your oven and the kind of peas from which the porridge is prepared. You may have to keep the porridge in the oven a little longer.
