Instructions
  1. Crab sticks should be taken chilled. If you have frozen ones, let them thaw well, then blot them as tightly as possible on paper towels. (the mass, which in stores in bulk in trays, simply does not fit, only the smell of starch from the promised fish scraps remains!) Cut into chopsticks at an angle 5-7 mm wide.
  2. To fry the crab sticks, use a non-stick frying pan. Pour vegetable oil into the pan so that the entire bottom is covered, heat it well. If you do not have a mesh cover, cover with a paper towel if it “shoots” strongly, but if you wet them well, the sticks will not shoot. Chopsticks do not need to be mixed, so as not to peremyat! Just lay out the diced ones in one layer, fry until golden brown, gently turn over with a wide spatula on the other side. Fry on the other side. Put it on paper towels to drain the oil. Divide the chilled ones if they stick together. Of course, a lot depends on the quality of the product, but we are preparing for such a wonderful holiday, for ourselves and loved ones!
  3. Cut the potatoes into plates 5-7 mm thick, then into cubes of the same width. Dry with a towel or napkin.
  4. and fry in the same frying pan with oil, where the crab sticks were fried. Place the potatoes on a towel to remove excess oil.
  5. Cucumbers cut into the same cubes as the previous products.
  6. If the Peking cabbage has wide leaves, first cut them in half lengthwise, then cut into strips 5-7 mm wide.
  7. Put the cabbage in a bowl, add a little salt, add a pinch of sugar and knead. Add cucumbers and mix. Before assembling the salad, drain the resulting juice.
  8. Prepare the salad sauce. Potatoes and cucumbers love sour cream, so we will fill the salad with it. Add finely chopped dill and spices to the sour cream – paprika, hot red pepper, garlic powder. Add salt to taste. Mix everything well.
  9. Green onions are not finely chopped.
  10. Put it on a serving dish: 1. Half a mixture of cabbage and cucumbers, 2. The next layer is potatoes, 3. Another layer of cabbage with cucumbers, 4. Now crab sticks, 5. And corn. 6. Pour the sauce over the entire surface of the salad and sprinkle with green onions. Fried potatoes, fried “fish”, cucumber, green onions, yes with sour cream! That’s the taste of this salad! The salad turns out to be incredibly tasty, juicy and rich, with a minimum amount of products.
