I have Dutch cheese. Cut six (take the right amount) slices of the thickness and length we need.
Beat the egg lightly with a fork.
Take breadcrumbs, by eye, for folding sticks (you can flour).
Now here’s what we do: roll the cheese slices in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs, then again in the egg and again in the breadcrumbs. And so 3 times, maybe 4. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
To remove excess vegetable oil, place the sticks on parchment or a napkin.
