I offer you an unusual recipe for firewood, which has long taken root in our family. The recipe is very simple, but the result is unexpectedly delicious. Potato firewood can be served with broths, meat and fish dishes, or simply with sour cream.

Instructions
  1. Boil the peeled potatoes until tender in salted water, drain the broth, cool the potatoes and pass through a meat grinder. Separate the white from the yolk, beat the white lightly with a whisk. In the potato mass, add the yolk, whipped white, salt – to taste, flour (sifted), gently mix and knead the dough. The prepared dough is rolled out in a layer 3-4 mm thick. cut into strips 3 cm long 10-15 cm. In the middle of each strip, make an incision in length, thread and turn out one end of the strip.   2. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
