Instructions
Any base is suitable for this filling. It can be a yeast, shortbread or biscuit finished product. I used, for example, ground gingerbread.
Now let’s start with the filling. Remove the zest from one orange. Remove the mezdra from the oranges and cut out the middle.
Grind in a food processor.
Now pour 1/3 cup of water into! small! bring the pan to a boil.
In the remaining part of the water, stir the starch. Now the score will go by seconds. We’re acting sooo fast.
As soon as the water boils, pour water with starch in a thin stream with one hand, and mix the second sooo quickly with a whisk so that no lumps form.
Turn off the gas, quickly pour in the sugar and stir vigorously until the sugar dissolves. At this stage, we get rid of the consistency of the paste.
Add chopped oranges or berries. You can use frozen berries without pre-defrosting.
Quickly mix and spread on the cake or use as a filling for the cake.
If you did everything right, the filling retains its shape and does not spread.
