  1. Mix the mustard seeds, Bay leaf, sugar, salt, pepper and cloves.
  2. Add water and white wine vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar dissolves and reduce the heat to a minimum. Cook for 10 minutes or until the liquid boils (water should remain a little, otherwise after cooling the mustard will be very thick).
  3. Allow to cool at room temperature. Remove the Bay leaf, cloves, and Bay leaf.
  4. Put it in the refrigerator for a few hours. If the consistency is too thick, you can add vinegar if necessary.
