Baked spicy pumpkin with dried fruits and cottage cheese is a very tasty addition to breakfast or a light dinner, but it can also exist as an independent dish. The beauty is that for this recipe, the pumpkin does not need to be cleaned, this is also our baking dish.

  1. We prepare the products – remove the seeds from the pumpkin, peel the apples.
  2. Put a layer of apples on the pumpkin, pieces of butter, sprinkle with cinnamon. If desired, you can also add cottage cheese to this layer.
  3. Fill with dried fruits, if desired, you can add dried apricots.
  4. Then lay out a layer of apples again, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  5. Carefully cover everything with cottage cheese, as if sealing our filling, smear with yolk. We put it in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake until the pumpkin becomes soft, it took me about 1 hour (it all depends on the size of the pumpkin). You can pour a little water into the baking dish.
  6. Pumpkin is ready, fragrant, tender, delicious and most importantly very useful.
