  1. Peel the pumpkin and cut into small pieces (about 1x2 cm). In a large saucepan, boil the syrup of sugar and water. In sugar syrup add pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves. Squeeze the juice out of the orange and add it to the syrup together with the zest. Bring to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, remove the pan from the heat, cool to room temperature.
