  1. Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar into a fluffy mass. Add sour cream, mix well.
  2. In the resulting mass, add soft butter at room temperature, mix.
  3. Sift the flour with baking powder, combine with the mass, mix well.
  4. Sprinkle the currants with flour and knead the dough.
  5. Grease the mold with vegetable oil. brush with oil, cover with cooking paper, pour 2/3 of the dough.
  6. Bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for about 1 hour, check the readiness with a dry match.
  7. Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar. For my taste, I like to cover cupcakes with icing.
