  1. It is better to cook stew from Turkey thigh fillet, it is juicier. In the bowl of a slow cooker, add the Turkey thigh fillet cut into pieces and the chopped onion. Add salt, pepper, Bay leaf, and garlic powder.
  2. Turn on the slow cooker to solve the quenching for 3 hours. You do not need to add water, the slow cooker heats up slowly and juice is released from the meat. But I still recommend that you look in 30-40 minutes and check if it seems that there is not enough liquid, pour just 30-50 ml of boiling water. After 3 hours of stewing, you will get a delicious stew made from natural Turkey meat. This stew can be preserved for a short time (no more than 1 month). To do this, prepare the jars and lids. Boil the lids for 10 minutes. Sterilize the banks in the usual way. At the time of canning, the cans and lids should be hot. Since botulism dies at 120°C, switch the slow cooker to “Chef” mode, set the temperature to 120°C and boil the stew for another 30 minutes.
  3. Place the boiling stew in sterile hot jars and screw on the hot lids. Wrap the jars in a blanket until completely cool, then store in the refrigerator. But you can not bother with canning, but simply put the stew in cans, let it cool, close the lids and remove to the far wall of the refrigerator. In this form, it will stand quietly for 1.5 weeks. As you can see in the photo, there is almost no fat in this stew, only a thin layer on the surface. After cooling, you can remove it with a spoon if it confuses you, and you will get an absolutely natural, juicy, flavorful stew, completely dietary.
  4. You can also freeze the stew by placing it in containers. Stored in the freezer for up to 2 months without losing taste.
