Caprese is one of the most famous salads, a symbol of Italy, because even the colors of the ingredients repeat the colors of the Italian flag – red tomatoes, white mozzarella and green basil. There are countless options for serving these ingredients, and different chefs will always have this dish different both in taste and appearance.   1. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half (you can leave a couple of pieces for decoration). Cut the mozzarella balls in half. Leave a few basil leaves for decoration, roll the rest into a tube and finely chop.
  2. Prepare the balsamic sauce, mix the balsamic vinegar and honey and put it on a slow fire. As soon as the liquid begins to thicken, your sauce is ready. Put the pesto sauce on a plate, add the tomatoes and mozzarella, sprinkle with basil, then pour over the balsamic sauce and garnish with basil leaves.
