Caprese is one of the most famous salads, a symbol of Italy, because even the colors of the ingredients repeat the colors of the Italian flag - red tomatoes, white mozzarella and green basil. There are countless options for serving these ingredients, and different chefs will always have this dish different both in taste and appearance. I present to you my version, which I consider the most complete, delicious and, of course, beautiful. Look, try it, enjoy your appetite!
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half (you can leave a couple of pieces for decoration). Cut the mozzarella balls in half. Leave a few basil leaves for decoration, roll the rest into a tube and finely chop.
Prepare the balsamic sauce, mix the balsamic vinegar and honey and put it on a slow fire. As soon as the liquid begins to thicken, your sauce is ready. Put the pesto sauce on a plate, add the tomatoes and mozzarella, sprinkle with basil, then pour over the balsamic sauce and garnish with basil leaves.
