Mash the melted cheese in triangles with a fork, adding cream to make a homogeneous mass. Add the garlic and nutmeg crushed through a press.
Add garlic to taste, but do not overdo it. There should be only a slight taste of garlic and no sharpness. I added half a small clove.
Take soft dates. Wash them well and dry them. Use a knife to cut lengthwise and remove the bone.
Using a pastry bag, stuff the dates with melted cheese.
It took me 25 dates.
Sprinkle the chopped cashew nuts and herbs on top.
Nuts can be any, well suited walnuts, pistachios, almonds, cedar. Greens on request.
