To begin with, peel the vegetables, eggs, finely chop the onion.
The whole salad is grated on a coarse grater and spread in layers.
1st layer: grate 2 potatoes on a platter, add salt, make a mesh of mayonnaise.
Layer 2: lay out half of the chopped onion.
Layer 3: grate half of the carrots, make a mesh of mayonnaise.
Layer 4: grate 1 pickled cucumber. Of course, you can replace it with a fresh cucumber, but it tastes better with a salty one.
5th layer: grate half of the eggs, make a mesh of mayonnaise.
Then repeat all the layers again in the same sequence.
Grate the cheese on top. Let it stand in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
