  1. Boil the peas first. Boil the peas at the rate of: for 1 cup of whole peas, take 6 cups of water, and for 1 cup of half peas – 4 cups of water. The cooking time of whole peas is 60-90 minutes, halves – 30-60 minutes. You can use broth, but I didn’t have it, so I took water and a broth cube.
  2. When the peas are ready, add salt to taste and pepper.
  3. Break the egg and add it to the pan, stirring with a fork.
  4. Remove the zest from the lemon and add to the soup.
  5. Serve immediately hot.
