Boil the peas first. Boil the peas at the rate of: for 1 cup of whole peas, take 6 cups of water, and for 1 cup of half peas – 4 cups of water. The cooking time of whole peas is 60-90 minutes, halves – 30-60 minutes. You can use broth, but I didn’t have it, so I took water and a broth cube.
