A simple and delicious snack that is easy to prepare at home. There are similar recipes on the site, but my version is somewhat different from the existing ones. In this way, you can marinate not only mussels, but also other cooked and frozen seafood.
Defrost the cooked-frozen mussels (without shells), rinse with running water, pour boiling water for 5 minutes (DO NOT cook), transfer to a colander and let the water drain. Put the cooled mussels in a jar or plastic container.
Marinade: Boil water in a saucepan (saucepan), add salt, sugar, bay leaf and allspice, boil for another 1 minute. Remove from the heat, pour in the vinegar and vegetable oil, mix.
Pour the mussels with hot marinade.
Place the lemon slices on top.
Close the lid and allow to cool at room temperature.
After cooling, the most tender pickled mussels are ready for use.
