Instructions
Fry the pearl barley until Golden brown. Add 1/2 Cup of water, salt, and cook under the lid, over low heat until the grits are soft.
Boil the rice until tender.
Fry the mushrooms, add the onion, carrot cubes, celery cubes, salt, pepper, nutmeg and simmer until tender.
Mix all the rice, pearl barley, mushrooms with vegetables, and parsley in a saucepan.
Stir and warm up.
Ready.
