Tangerines are always associated with New Year’s holidays, so I want to suggest making a bright, delicious and refreshing lemonade from them, which will be an excellent substitute for compote.
Pour lemon juice into a small saucepan, add sugar, honey, water and a stick of cinnamon. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove the cinnamon stick and let it cool down a little.
Peel one tangerine, divide into slices and slightly suppress. We send it to the prepared decanter, cut slices of lemon (or lime) there.
Pour freshly squeezed tangerine juice, lemon syrup from a saucepan and sparkling water into a carafe. Mix it. Pour into glasses, add ice (optional) and decorate to your liking.
