  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. In a blender, grind the margarine and add the flour mixture. It is necessary that the ingredients stick to each other and retain their shape when you squeeze them in your hand.
  2. Add all the water and quickly knead the dough with your hands or fork. It is better to stir in a bowl in a circular motion, removing the flour stuck to the edges.
  3. When the dough is ready, cover it with a towel and leave it to “rest” for 5-10 minutes. This is done so that the flour absorbs all the liquid.
  4. Divide the dough into balls about 2.5 cm in diameter. When all the dough is divided into balls, let them “rest” for 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the surface of the table with flour and start rolling out the tortillas. The tortilla should be round, 0.3 cm thick and 20-25 cm in diameter.
  6. Place the tortilla in a preheated frying pan and cook until air bubbles appear. Turn it over to the other side. Each side is cooked for about 30 seconds. Press the top with a wide blade so that the center of the tortilla is also well fried. And so we repeat with each tortilla. That’s how they turn out. Ready-made tortillas are covered with a towel so that they do not dry out. When it cools down, put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator. They can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
