  1. Rinse the liver well, clean it of unnecessary films and bile. Finely chop onion and carrot for soup
  2. Pour water into a saucepan, lower the liver into hot water, cook for about 30 minutes, then you can cut off a piece of liver so that there is no blood. Do not pour out the broth. The broth turns out to be transparent.
  3. When the liver is cooked, put it in a bowl in which you need to punch the liver with a blender. If the liver is dry, add 1/2 cup of broth. I added less than 1/2 cup.
  4. Pour vegetable oil and butter into a frying pan, cut 1 head of onion and fry until golden brown. I’m sorry, I was in a hurry – there is no photo. Put the fried onion and boiled egg on the liver. Whisk everything together still well with a blender. Try it with salt, pepper, if necessary, add to taste.
  5. The pate is still warm, put it in a dish or container, let it cool, put it in the refrigerator. You can eat it warm and spread it on bread and crackers. It tastes best when it cools down on the second and third days.
