  1. Ingredients for making Lemon cake.
  2. Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites into a foam. Add sugar, whisk again.
  3. Mix flour (1.5 cups) with corn starch (2 tablespoons), add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Stir the resulting mixture.
  4. Slice the lemon, remove the seeds.
  5. Chop the lemon with a blender.
  6. Melt the butter (150 g) and add the lemon puree. Stir the resulting mixture.
  7. Beat egg yolks (7 pcs.).
  8. Mix the beaten egg-white-yolk mass, add flour (1.5 cups) and butter-lemon puree. Mix well.
  9. Grease the mold with butter.
  10. Put the dough into the mold. Send the mold to a preheated 200 degree oven, bake for about 25 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180C and bake until dry splinters appear. I want to note that everyone should focus on their oven, they are all different. Perhaps in some ovens the temperature should be slightly lowered or vice versa increased.
  11. Lemon pie is ready. Sprinkle the finished cooled cake with powdered sugar.
