Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan or cauldron.
Finely chop the leek and spasserovat until soft, Browning it is not necessary.
I did not have leeks this time, I used the usual onion flavor, it also turns out delicious.
Add the rice to the saucepan.
Stir and fry for a minute, stirring to allow each rice to absorb the oil.
Add hot water to the rice, season with salt, stir and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook over low heat until all the liquid is absorbed (25-30 minutes, depending on the rice variety).
Put the washed and dried spinach in a blender along with the garlic cloves, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
Grind to a paste.
To make it easier to grind, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of water to the blender.
If you use frozen peas, then you need to pour boiling water over them.
Remove the zest from half a lemon.
Add the zest to the finished rice.
Add chopped spinach.
Add the peas.
Stir and cook for another 5 minutes. Rice can be served by placing it on a dish using a serving ring (as in the top photo), or you can simply put it in a Cup.
