This is really a very tender and hearty salad, but it is not heavy at all. Delicious and affordable. I really love it for its harmony and simplicity of preparation.
Boil the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
Grate the boiled carrots on a medium grater, chop the eggs finely, chop the dill.
Rinse the rice in cold water and let the excess liquid drain. Add the rice to the salad, pass the garlic through the press. Cut the ham into small cubes, add sour cream or mayonnaise. Mix gently.
Grate the cheese on a fine grater and put it on top of the salad.
