Nuts with Peas Recipe
I want to offer an old recipe of Armenian cuisine – pea nuts. The nuts are savory, delicious and satisfying. It is really very tasty and leaves an ambivalent impression: it seems that it is an appetizer, and it seems that it is a dessert.

Ingredients

Peas

gram
Walnuts
50
gram
Raisin
Salt
(to taste)
Saffron
(on the tip of a knife)

Instructions
Rinse the peas, put them in a saucepan with water (ratio 1:2), bring to a boil. After boiling, cook until tender for 30-40 minutes on low heat.
Chop the walnuts not very finely, to taste.
Chop the finished peas with a blender.
Add nuts and washed raisins to the pea puree.
Add salt, cardamom, saffron and whisk again with a blender.
From the resulting mass, roll up walnut-sized balls and roll in crushed nuts.
Cut the lemon into slices and put it on a platter.
Put the nuts with peas on lemon slices. Serve the nuts with sour cream.
