  1. Peel the onion and carrot and finely chop. Bring the onion to a transparent state. Add the carrots and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the shrimp. Simmer for no more than 2 minutes.
  3. Rinse the rice. Spread evenly on a baking sheet or frying pan. Fill it with water. Close the lid and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Then mix and add salt and seasonings. Tomato paste to taste.
  4. Voila, the pilaf is ready! I would like to add that Bulgarian pepper and tomato are very harmoniously combined with pilaf. And turmeric and saffron will give the dish a piquant note.
