  1. Prepare the main ingredients.
  2. Cut the potatoes into large cubes, put them in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Then add salt to the water and dry the potatoes.
  3. Defrost the mushrooms, chop them coarsely and fry with onions in butter for 10 minutes. There is no need to overcook, we need the aroma of onions and mushrooms to open up. At the end of frying, add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet greased with butter.
  5. Spread the mushrooms with onion, garlic and thyme sprigs on the potatoes. Sprinkle everything with vegetable or olive oil.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 minutes. Very tasty and fragrant. as for the dish that we cooked in Derwin, I would serve it right on the pan to the table.
  7. Or serve in portions. Potatoes with porcini mushrooms can be served as a side dish to roast beef from beef tenderloin.
