The site has two recipes for Shanghai salad and two variants with similar names, they are all different and all a little similar. In my opinion, they are all heavy. My version of the salad is very light, not weighted with unnecessary components.
Cut the meat into small cubes. The recipe provides boiled chicken, but I also made smoked, it’s also delicious, but it won’t be so easy.
Drain the liquid from the mushrooms, and squeeze the mushrooms slightly. Add to the meat.
Corn also needs to be dried, the grains are poured into a bowl with salad.
Cut the olives into slices. I have half a can of olives left for the anniversary, I decided to use both.
Gently squeeze the pineapples from the syrup and cut each piece into three parts. Add to the salad.
Finely chop the cilantro and mix.
Mix mayonnaise in a bowl, squeeze lemon juice and mix well.
Season the salad mixture with salt and pepper, season with mayonnaise (in the minimum possible amount), put it on a flat dish covered with lettuce leaves.
