Tzatziki Sauce Recipe
My favorite tzatziki recipe! All the ingredients are prepared and measured in such a way that the quality of this Greek sauce pleases with its taste and appearance. Tzatziki is so versatile that it is ideal for any dish of meat, poultry, it can be eaten with fresh bread, potatoes and pita bread. Highly recommended!

  1. Prepare the products in advance. P.S. If your yogurt is not thick enough, then be sure to strain it through a towel or several layers of gauze.
  2. Peel the cucumber and grate it on a coarse grater. Add a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of vinegar, mix. Wrap everything in a kitchen towel and mix…
  3. .. squeeze well. P.S. Vinegar and salt make pickled cucumbers more crispy, but the taste of the sauce is more saturated!
  4. Put yogurt, squeezed cucumber, garlic, dill, salt (taking into account the addition of salt to the cucumber when serving), pepper and vinegar in a container, 2 tbsp. l. Mix well.
  5. Put it in the refrigerator and let it brew.
  6. See how well the sauce holds its shape. I specially pricked it on a fork to show that the sauce does not leak.
