Fruit Marmalade Recipe
These candies can be made from any fruits and berries. And for those who have a juicer, the recipe is especially useful. I always feel sorry to throw away the cake left over after making juice, because there are so many vitamins and fiber left in it. Whenever possible, I try to use it when cooking different dishes. Today I want to offer you to cook a marmalade dish. It will take 10 minutes.

  1. Thanks to the Srarlett juicer, I made delicious mango and nectarine juice. The remaining fragrant and healthy dish is 230 gr. At first I planned to make the filling for the cake, but the children asked for sweets (in summer I often cook berry or fruit marmalade), and I succumbed to their persuasions. I share the recipe.
  2. If you know in advance what you will make marmalade from, soak agar-agar – 2 teaspoons in a glass of water. It needs at least 20 minutes to swell. Then chop the cake, if it has large pieces, dip it with a blender.
  3. Add 2-5 tablespoons of sugar to the swollen agar. The amount of sugar will depend on the sweetness of your fruits: the sweeter they are, the less sugar you will need. Put on the fire and, stirring constantly, boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Now remove from the heat and add the fruit pie, mix until smooth and put it back on the fire. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Arrange them into molds.
  6. When the marmalade cools down, it’s ready. This marmalade can be stored for only 2 days, since we almost did not cook it. If you want to get a long-term marmalade, then add half a cup of water to the cake and boil for 30 minutes before adding it to the agar. Please note, if you are making this marmalade cake from apples or pears, remove the core before pressing. My children enjoy eating such sweets, and I am glad that they get a lot of fiber and vitamins. You can experiment and put a small berry or nut in the middle of the filling.
