Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine from Hibiscus Recipe
There are a lot of mulled wine recipes on the site, but I will venture to offer another one – non-alcoholic. This mulled wine has many advantages. Firstly, it is anti-cold and warming, which is very useful in cold and frosty weather, and secondly, the drink is an aphrodisiac, and this, you will agree, is very important in the light of Valentine’s Day. And, thirdly, even if we exclude the first two points, this drink is simply very tasty and can be drunk even by children.

  1. The drink is not easy to prepare, but very simple. We count the number of hibiscus inflorescences, clove buds and cinnamon sticks (I didn’t have it and I just added half a spoon with a hammer).
  2. Cut a small piece of ginger root, wash it and cut it into thin slices.
  3. Add ginger to the spices, pour boiling water and leave to infuse for at least 20 minutes. Ideally, it is better for an hour and even wrap up the dishes.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth or strainer and add 2-3 tablespoons of honey to the resulting infusion (I used 2.5 tablespoons). So our non-alcoholic mulled wine from hibiscus is ready. Pour into mugs or glasses and enjoy the rich spicy taste. Even my daughter, 2.4 years old, liked the drink, and I am generally silent about her husband, having tasted it, now she asks him to cook every day, completely forgetting about the classic version of wine.
