I found this recipe on the Internet. I really liked the idea of a spicy dressing based on mayonnaise. The rest was done to your liking. I think your gourmet guests will appreciate it.

  1. To prepare a cocktail salad, take large boiled-frozen shrimp and smoked mussels.
  2. Take a ripe, but not soft avocado, cut in half, turn the halves against each other, separate the bone, peel, cut lengthwise into thin strips.
  3. Sprinkle the sliced avocado with lemon juice to prevent oxidation (darkening).
  4. Peel the pomelo (you can take a grapefruit).
  5. Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice, yogurt without additives, ground almonds, tabasco (I have garlic, it is less burning, so be careful, 2-3 drops are enough), freshly ground white and black pepper, cognac. I don’t add salt.
  6. Mix the dressing, I use a whisk.
  7. We take glasses (wine glasses) for serving, put lettuce leaves in each.
  8. Randomly put pomelo, avocado, smoked mussels and shrimp in a glass.
  9. Put a full tablespoon of dressing.
