Salad with Savory Croutons and Bacon Recipe
I’ve been looking for an interesting recipe without mayonnaise for a long time. It turns out very tasty. At the table, this is eaten first. Based on Caesar, I love these salads!

Instructions
  1. Mix the butter and herbs in a bowl, I used French. Grate the garlic or squeeze it out through a garlic press, add it to the oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the crust from the loaf, tear the pulp into small pieces or cut into cubes. Put on a baking sheet, mix with butter, garlic and herbs.
  3. Place in a preheated 180 degree oven, bake until golden brown (about 25 minutes).
  4. Cut the bacon into strips. Fry in a frying pan (do not add oil).
  5. Slice the parmesan with a knife or grate on a coarse grater.
  6. Cut tomatoes into small pieces. In the original, these are cherry tomatoes cut in half, I didn’t have them in the refrigerator.
  7. Tear the lettuce leaves with your hands.
  8. Add tomatoes, bacon, parmesan. If necessary, season the salad with salt.
  9. We recommend adding crackers before serving so that they remain crispy.
