  1. Add rice to the boiling broth (the cooking time of rice is 30-35 minutes).
  2. While the rice is cooking, cut the onion into quarter rings, grate the carrots on a fine grater.
  3. Smoked meat (bacon and neck) cut into cubes.
  4. Fry the onion and carrot lightly.
  5. Add the smoked meat, fry for a couple of minutes, remove from heat.
  6. Cut the gherkins and olives into rings.
  7. In a saucepan with broth and rice, put the vegetables with smoked meats, gherkins and olives. Boil for five minutes, turn off.
