  1. Two main products are used to ferment yogurt: milk and sourdough. In the absence of dry milk starter, a jar of natural yogurt is quite suitable for fermentation of milk (brand trust), fat content of at least 3%. 150-200 g of ready-made yogurt is enough for 1 liter of milk. According to this recipe, dessert yogurt with chocolate and strawberries will be prepared, so starter starter (ready-made yogurt) is taken in larger quantities so that the yogurt clot can withstand the weight of additional additives. To make yogurt, milk should have a temperature of 40 degrees, not higher. Already at 50 degrees, bacteria can die, fermentation will not occur. Heat the milk to a hot state (I use pasteurized milk, which is brought to a boil). Put the chocolate in the milk, melt the chocolate with constant stirring. Allow the milk mixture to cool to an acceptable temperature (it is convenient to cool the mixture in a sink with cold water).
  2. You can prepare yogurt in serving jars or in a large one-liter container. The weight of the ingredients is taken with a small margin, since at the moments of straining and transfusion, a few extra grams will “settle” on the walls of the dishes. Place the yogurt starter in a small container, add a little chocolate-milk mixture (rubbed through a sieve), mix well. Pour the mixture into a yogurt glass, then pour in the remaining chocolate milk (use a strainer, undissolved pieces of chocolate may remain). Pour the milk mixture into a 1-1.5 cm glass, without adding to the top (so that the strawberries fit later).
  3. Cover the glass with the mixture with a lid, put it in a yogurt maker. Set the time to 6-8 hours. The yogurt maker greatly facilitates the cooking process and guarantees 100% quality of delicious yogurt. The main task of the yogurt maker is to maintain a constant temperature throughout the fermentation period.
  4. Prepare the strawberries – rinse well, dry, remove the stems. Cut the dried strawberries into small pieces. After 6-8 hours, the yogurt will almost flatten, the mixture will turn out quite thick. Put the sliced strawberries in the yogurt, mix gently. Put a glass of yogurt in a yogurt maker, the final ripening time is 4 hours.
  5. At the end of the cooking time, the container with yogurt should be cooled to 5 degrees, in the worst case, the yogurt is filtered. The longer the yogurt stays in the refrigerator, the denser its consistency will be. The finished yogurt turns out to be very thick, incredibly tasty (with moderate sweetness) and fragrant (the photo shows that strawberries are evenly “placed” throughout the entire volume of yogurt.
