Unusual, but very tasty borscht. One of my family’s favorite borscht from the summer menu. Treat yourself! It’s very tasty.

  1. The number of products is calculated for a 5-liter pot. Wash and peel the beets and carrots. Cut them into strips. Then put the pan on the stove, pour vegetable oil. Put the grated beets and carrots in the heated oil, fry for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add tomato paste, vinegar and sugar to the vegetables (optional), if necessary, add boiled water to the pan, cover and simmer the vegetables until soft.
  3. Shredded cabbage. By this time, water for borscht should be boiling in a saucepan on the stove. Put the cabbage in boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Add to the pot with cabbage and cook until soft.
  4. Peel the squid from the films, wash and cut into strips. Have the potatoes become soft? Add stewed vegetables and squid to the pan. Season the borscht to taste with garlic, ground with salt, add bay leaf. After 3-4 minutes, the borscht is ready!
