Cakes “Aegean Coast” Recipe
This variation of cakes looks unusual, they are perfect for festive or everyday tea drinking. This type of cake is popular on the Aegean coast, but you can easily make it at home. It will take very little of your time, and the refrigerator will do the rest. Delicious and elegant dessert turns out to be tender. If you don’t have an oven or don’t have enough time to cook something delicious for tea, then this recipe is especially for you.

  1. To make dessert, we need a pack of any dark biscuits. Grind it together with nuts in a meat grinder.
  2. Preparing the custard. Whisk together eggs, sugar, vanillin and starch.
  3. Add milk and place on the stove. Cook, stirring constantly until boiling. After boiling, the cream will have the consistency of “thick sour cream”.
  4. The cream boiled, removed from the heat and immediately add butter to the hot. Let it cool slightly. It usually cools down to 40-45 degrees.
  5. Cut the banana into cubes or half rings.
  6. Prepare containers for dessert. Looks very nice in glasses with legs. I have 125 ml glasses and tea cups, for a total of 8 glasses / cups from this amount of ingredients.
  7. Fill our containers with even layers: sandy-nut crumbs, cream, lay a banana and so on to the end. The last layer is crumb, because the cream tends to dry out.
  8. Decorate at our own discretion and put it in the refrigerator, preferably at night.
