Everyone likes a fragrant lemon cake and it can be packed as a sweet gift to relatives or neighbors. A sweet icing cap will bring a finished festive look. Top with any nuts, candied fruits or leave just like that.

  1. Separately beat the eggs.
  2. Combine soft butter with sugar.
  3. Pour in the beaten eggs.
  4. Add the zest of 1 lemon and the juice of about half a lemon.
  5. Add flour with baking powder, salt.
  6. Thoroughly grind or beat with a mixer.
  7. Added candied fruits. A large cut.
  8. I transferred the dough to a silicone mold “brick” size: 23 cm by 9 cm.
  9. Bake until dry skewers 50 min at 180*.
  10. Allow to cool in the form, then remove. Here’s one from the bottom.
  11. For the glaze, pour a little lemon juice into the powdered sugar.
  12. Rub to a mushy state, so that it is convenient to spread on the cake.
  13. Immediately sprinkle with candied fruits or other decorations.
  14. Cut into slices not very thin, because it can break. Stored for several days in a bag or box covered. A fragrant classic cupcake turned out with a loose homogeneous texture.
