Potatoes are boiled in the “uniform”. Clearing it.
Grate on a fine grater.
Add salt and egg. Mix it up.
Sift 1 tbsp. l. with a mound of flour. Mix it up.
Cut the cheese into small cubes, about 5 mm.
We form balls with wet hands.
In the palm of your hand, spread 1/2 tbsp. l. potato dough, shape it into a tortilla, put 1 piece of cheese on top and roll it into a ball.
Roll the balls in breadcrumbs.
From this amount of ingredients, I got 17 balls.
We lower the balls into the hot vegetable oil in 3-4 pieces (I have a small saucepan to save oil) and fry until golden brown on all sides for about 40-50 seconds.
We spread the finished balls on paper towels to remove excess oil.
A delicious and tender snack-potato balls with cheese-is ready.
I serve it with ketchup.
