Snack Cake from Chicken Aspic Recipe
Aspic is always a decoration of the New year’s table. I suggest you make it in the form of cakes for serving. These cakes will also be in demand at the buffet table.

  1. Fill the chicken with water, salt and cook until tender. I have 2 chicken thighs in the photo, I used one according to the recipe. You can take a chicken breast (about 200 g) if desired.
  2. Let the chicken meat cool, cut it into fillets and cut it into small pieces. Finely chop the parsley.
  3. Strain the cooled broth and pour it approximately equally into three bowls. In each put 10 g of gelatin. Dissolve the gelatin, according to the instructions on the package.
  4. Next, put mayonnaise in one bowl of broth with gelatin and mix well. I used a whisk.
  5. In another bowl, put the ketchup, and mix well. The third bowl is left.
  6. We take muffin molds, I have silicone. Pour approximately 1 cm of liquid. In one half poured with mayonnaise, in the other with ketchup. Put in the refrigerator for freezing. Depending on the strength of your gelatin, this may take from 10 minutes to 1 hour.
  7. When the gelatin seizes, take out the molds, put the chopped chicken fillet, sprinkle with herbs and pour the chicken broth with gelatin so that it covers the chicken. Again, put in the refrigerator for freezing.
  8. Next, take out the molds. In those molds where there was a lower layer with ketchup, pour the solution with mayonnaise, and in those where there was mayonnaise, pour with ketchup. And again put in the refrigerator for complete solidification.
  9. Before serving, we store the aspic-cake in the refrigerator, preferably in molds. Then we get them, I have them “flew” out of the molds without problems.
