  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into round pieces and fry until golden brown in a deep frying pan, flatten, turn off the heat.

  4. Peel the onion, cut into half rings and fry in vegetable oil.
  5. Prepare tomato sauce from tomato paste, sugar, salt, pepper and water, adjusting to your taste. Pour the sauce over the onion and let it brew for 5 minutes. Pour the tomato roast over the fish and potatoes – it should cover the fish.
  6. Put on the fire for 10 minutes without a lid, so that the water boils, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes. Turn off the fire. Remove the bay leaf, cool or eat hot.
