  1. Wash the lettuce leaves. We tear them with our hands and send them to the blender bowl.
  2. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. We send it to the leaves in a bowl. We also ship salt and olive oil there. Whisk everything into a homogeneous mass. The sauce is ready. We put it in a jar under the lid and send it to the refrigerator before use.
  3. Before serving, I will pour the sauce into a nice saucepan. With the remaining sauce, I will pour olive oil on top and send it back to the refrigerator before use. This way, it will last longer. You don’t need to cook a lot of sauce.
  4. I’ll make pasta bows with sauce. I put the pasta on a plate, poured the sauce over it and, to make sure it was “almost pesto”, sprinkled the dish with grated hard cheese and toasted sunflower seeds on top. You can sprinkle with nuts, for example pine nuts!
