Boil the beets until tender.
Cut carrots into strips, onions into half rings. Fry the onion and carrot in butter in a frying pan.
Then add tomato sauce to the pan with vegetables. Fry for another 3-4 minutes.

Pour 1 cup of water + sugar + vinegar into a saucepan. Cover everything with a lid and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Cut the cabbage into strips and put it in boiling meat broth, cook for 10-15 minutes.
