Broccoli Salad with Mango and Caramelized Nuts Recipe
I offer you a simple salad for the New Year. I found it, as they say, on the Internet, and I really liked it. It can be used as a light side dish for meat on New Year’s Eve or served simply as an elegant salad.
We will need these products. sesame seeds are not necessary if you have nuts.
Cut a piece of ripe mango weighing about 100-120 grams. peel and cut into small cubes.
Boil the broccoli for 1-2 minutes and immediately dip it in ice water. that she hasn’t changed her beautiful emerald color.
In a cup, mix 2 tablespoons of orange juice, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of sour cream or yogurt. Or make do with one mayonnaise. Add 1/2 tsp of salt, leave it to your liking.
Fry the nuts in a dry frying pan and chop.
In a dry frying pan, melt 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and caramelize our nuts in it. sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper on top and remove immediately. Non-parliamentary. thinly slice the red onion (not all, but a small piece for beauty and a little piquancy).
In a salad bowl, put the broccoli first, then mango slices, onion slices, evenly distribute the caramelized nuts and pour the resulting sauce on top. Garnish with orange zest.
