Instructions
  1. In a bowl, add 200 ml. warm milk, add the total amount of sugar (1/2 Cup), add 3 tablespoons of flour, add 10 g. granulated yeast. Beat the mixture with a whisk. Cover the container with plastic wrap or a towel and put it in a warm place to dissolve the yeast.
  2. After a while, a cap of small bubbles forms on the surface of the mixture. The dough is ready.
  3. Add eggs (3 PCs.) to the sourdough, add salt (1 teaspoon), Add melted and cooled to room temperature butter, add 10 g of vanilla sugar. Beat the mixture with a whisk. Then gradually add the remaining flour in portions. Knead a soft dough. Cover the container with the dough with food wrap or a towel and put it to rise. After the first rise, knead the dough and put it to rise again. Then you can start forming the rolls.
  4. Divide the dough into equal pieces. Roll each piece into an oval shape. At the end of the oval tongue, put 1 teaspoon of cherry thermostable jam.
  5. Turn the edge to the center. You should get a Crescent moon like the one in the photo. The edge is well pressed. Next, make cuts along the free edge using a culinary cutter-wheel or knife.
  6. Next, make a twist in the middle, distribute the incisions on the half-moon bun, and tuck the free edge under the bottom of the bun.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet covered with baking paper or a silicone Mat. Tighten the baking tray with rolls with food wrap and put the semi-finished products on the proofing. Proofing time 20-30 min. Then grease the rolls with beaten egg and send them to the oven preheated to t190c for baking. Bake until Golden brown.
  8. Ready-made buns cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  9. Enjoy your tea on warm summer evenings!
